About Us

GOfetch started as F.E.T.C.H.
(Fun Enthusiastic Training for Canine Households) in October 2007. We wanted to offer more to our training clients, so five years later in October of 2012, we opened the doors to our one-stop dog shop, GOfetch. Since then we’ve been providing quality daycare, training and grooming services to our clients.

When it comes to the job, sometimes watching large amounts of dogs can be a messy and funny business (literally and figuratively). We’re real people overcoming real challenges, always with a smile. Things aren’t always perfect, but the results always speak for themselves.

To sum it all up, GOfetch is a family affair. Being part of a family means a one-of-a-kind connection based on togetherness and trust. Every time a dog owner drops off their four-legged children with GOfetch we become part of that extended family. The parents trust us and we provide the same love and care for their children they get at home. That’s what makes us different. We’re not a place where you drop, go, and hope for the best. We’re a place where you trust, live, and love with peace of mind. Clients know our children and we know theirs, four or two-legged because we believe in community, trust, and connection first. If that matters to you too, then there really is no other option.

Meet The Owners

Carley

Co-Owner and Trainer

Carley has been an animal trainer since 2005. She started her path to owning a successful dog training business at the University of San Diego, where she majored in Psychology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior. Carley started out training marine mammals, but discovered that her true passion was helping her fellow land mammals train their 4-legged friends, and in 2007 made the switch from dolphins to dogs. In 2008 Carley and her husband Aaron started their in-home dog training company F.E.T.C.H. (Fun Enthusiastic Training for Canine Households) to help the dogs of Long Beach become the best they can be. After meeting Katherine and realizing that with their powers combined; they could do more, F.E.T.C.H. evolved into GOfetch!

Co-Owner and Events Coordinator

Katherine and Carley met on a fateful day, back in October of 2011. Little did they know that that meeting over coffee and snacks would lead to quite the future for them. Although Katherine’s background is in the radio business, she took a chance walking away from all that to focus her energy on her passion for dogs. Katherine quickly learned all the tricks of the F.E.T.C.H. training trade and became part of the training family. As time went on, Carley, and Katherine realized they had the same ultimate goal in mind and decided to partner up to expand into the full-service business that GOFetch has become.
